SPECIFICATIONS
The wet film wheels use the scale of the wheel-rail eccentric wheel to obtain the wet film thickness, expressed in μm. Suitable for determining the wet film thickness of coatings, especially suitable for measuring the battery electrode coating thickness of lithium ion battery. The wet film wheels can be measured not only on a flat substrate but also on a curved substrate with high measurement accuracy.

How to use?
1. The battery slurry coating was applied to the substrate and the wet film thickness was measured immediately after application.
2. Keep the substrate horizontal and fixed. Place the wet film wheels on the substrate with the small reading at the top, then roll it forward 180° and repeat 180° in the opposite direction, then take out the instrument and check the Where the membrane surface first touched, the readings were taken and averaged into one reading.
3. Although the wet film wheels are suitable for measuring wet film thickness on flat test panels, it can also be used on substrate surfaces that are bent in only one direction.
Test accuracy
1. The AOAO wet film wheels are machined to a tolerance of ±5% over the entire range.
2. For best results, try to avoid readings outside the recommended range.
3. Test conditions may adversely affect the maximum attainable accuracy for any given application.
4. Factors that affect the accuracy of readings include, but are not limited to: surface tension and flow characteristics of the paint being measured, moisture and hardness of the substrate.
